Fedex vs UPS Illusion

This illusion has been posted around the net on quite a few occassions however, no-one has been able to verify whether it is fake or not.

For starters, if the UPS vans were painted onto the truck they would only appear “correct” from one angle.

Speculation has been made that this is merely a viral marketing campaign by Fedex (which appeared to have worked?) similar to a Mercedes Benz campaign, which show a Mercedes truck carrying 6 BMW Cars.

Stare at the dot in the centre of the video until it switches you’ll notice that the photo is in colour, what happens when you move your eyes?

You’ll notice that the second image is actually in black & white.

Americas Got Talent - Kevin James Illusion

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Kevin James on America’s Got Talent recently then you’re in for a treat. This Magic Trick is so good that it’s been leaving people baffled for weeks.

Here’s how the trick is done:

There’s three people involved, the disabled person, the dwarf & the whole person.
The legs standing beside the table are actually of someone bent forward underneath the desk, this could either be the real whole person or mechanical legs of some sort.
The upper body is someone who is disabled & actually has no lower body to begin with.
When the upper body is cut the disabled person does his thing, you’ll notice that when he’s carried off then table is wheeled away.
When this is done they switch everything for the 3rd Real Person & everyone is none the wiser.

The Vanity

At over 100 years old ‘The Vanity’ has stood the test of time as being one of the finest Optical Illusions ever created. It was painted by Charles Allan Gilbert who was an American Illustrator between 1873 - 1929.

As you study the picture the two objects should become much clearer & you should be able to identify between them quite quickly.

Reality vs Drawings

I stumbled across these drawings today, but was unable to find who the original artist is, if anyone knows please drop me a line in the comments, I’m very keen to see if there’s any more of these beauties!

The artist has used a yet very simplistic way of making the drawings appear to be more real than they actually are by creating some form of interaction with the character. Very clever.

It’s extremely possible that the first two photos have been photoshopped to remove the part of the hand that overlaps on the drawing. I can’t really think of any other way of achieving that effect.
