Airplane Near Miss Illusions

All these airplanes are a little too close for comfort, but is it just an illusion? The illusion effect is caused by the overly long Telephoto lens used by the Photographer.

  3. It was actually confirmed that the last one was an illusion too, with the nearer plane being much smaller than the far (DHL) one, making them appear similar sized and therefore near each other in the pic.

  5. umm… the first two photos have different planes.
    the first one had a LUFTHANSA and a UNITED AIRWAYS
    the other one had two UNITED AIRWAYS planes just in different color

  7. Jake…ys, they are different planes, cos they’re different pictures taken at different times?!
    The two UA planes are the same colour, one in shade the other in bright light.
